I had my nephews (ages 5 and 8) recreate famous paintings. They had a blast and I of course threw in a little history lesson for each painting.

BROOKLYN, NY.- Children at Brooklyn’s Brookdale Hospital are using their imaginations and creativity this summer as they work alongside New Zealand artist, Vivien Masters. Vivien is collaborating with Brookdale as part of her international non-profit art project for seriously ill children, the Dreamscape Project. Throughout July she will be working with the Child Life Department at Brookdale to deliver art classes to children facing the daily challenges of long-term medical treatment.
